Program description - January 2024

Machining tools and techniques are evolving as the manufacturing industry grows and adapts to new technology. This two-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate prepares mechanical engineers and machinists to respond to the modern manufacturing industry. In this hands-on program, you will learn current machining techniques and practices including benchwork, milling, and lathing, and the design of work holding devices. You will also explore in-demand practices and processes required of leaders in the manufacturing industry.
