This course will focus on the creation of professional technical reports. Students will focus on

refining and advancing students workplace communication abilities. Students will apply technical

communication theory and practice to create, critique, and present technical documents. An oral

project presentation will emphasize clear and concise communication of technical details and the

use of appropriate visual support for technical information. Students will also learn concepts and

strategies for interpersonal and intercultural communication.

Description: This self-directed course focuses on introducing new students to the supports, services, and opportunities available at Conestoga College. In this course, students will learn how the Kanban method can increase the efficiency, collaboration, and transparency of a project and operations teams. Agile teams face problems in delivering products to their customers. In this course, students will learn how to solve the issues and practical decision-making skills typical to project teams. Capstone (IT Project Management)
MGMT8156

Description:

This capstone project course, a culmination of the program, will combine practical and theoretical knowledge gained within this program to challenge the student to successfully plan and execute an IT Project using the Agile Project Management methodology. Working in small teams and supervised by a faculty member, students will work as Scrum Teams to develop and implement user stories using various artifacts. A faculty will meet regularly with each team to ensure Agile best practices have been followed.
