Program description

There are so many opportunities for everyone in the skilled trades, but it can be hard to know where to start. This unique, fully-funded, try-a-trade program will give you the opportunity to prepare for a rewarding career in glazing, a recognized skilled trade called Architectural Glass & Metal Technician. This trade works on windows, store fronts, entrances, skylights, and even display cases!

In this program, you will spend days in the shop working with glass and metal components, developing hands-on skills related to measuring and cutting glass, cutting, bending and fabricating metal frames and installing system components. In addition, you will develop an understanding of trade-specific academic job search and employment skills.
