Introduction to Motorcycle Maintenance

Description:

In this course you will learn about the maintenance of a motorcycle and fundamental knowledge of the components. You will be required to demonstrate safe workplace practices and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Program outcomes

  1. Use basic trade related hands-on skills required to complete simple Maintenance.
  2. Apply basic mathematics, document use, and communication strategies to solve trade related problems.
  3. Identify trade related health and safety risks and how to mitigate them.
  4. Identify tools and materials appropriate to their purpose and function and in keeping with safe work practices.
  5. Identify opportunities in motive power trades including apprenticeships, employment and other academic options.
  6. Develop a resume and strategies to secure employment, an apprenticeship, or other educational opportunities.
