Careers - September 2022

Graduates are prepared to work in a variety of practice settings including hospital intensive care units, neonatal nurseries, emergency departments and operating rooms, as well as in community care settings. Graduates of the program are required to write the Health Professionals Testing Canada (HPTC) national credentialing exam in order to work in Ontario and other Canadian jurisdictions. In order to practice in Ontario as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), the graduate must become a member of the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO).

On average, 93% of graduates from 2020 to 2022 found employment within six months of graduation.
