Program outcomes

  1. Communicate technical information to management, engineering-manufacturing and sales marketing groups, through the use of relevant language, graphics and computer skills.
  2. Create value for an enterprise by identifying and supporting the role of quality as a strategic element.
  3. Identify issues, opportunities, and performance metrics using current and relevant tools such as Value Stream mapping and process mapping.
  4. Apply knowledge, skills, and practical procedures of process quality measurement and improvement to transactional and business processes, as well as manufacturing processes and material.
  5. Apply analytical reliability methods to support the design, engineering, and management of reliability activities throughout the life cycle of a product.
  6. Apply various statistical tools such as measurement system analysis, process capability and design of experiments to baseline performance and effect process improvement.
  7. Apply the principles of project management using relevant computer software.
