After completing the Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician (MLA/T) certificate, graduates may pursue an advanced diploma in Conestoga's Medical Laboratory Science program.
The Conestoga College MLA/T program is registered with EQual™ (Accreditation Canada's specialized health education accreditation program). Graduates of the MLA/T program are eligible to write the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) national certification exam and can begin their career as a registered Medical Laboratory Assistant.
