Gas Regulations and Worksite Documentation

Students will complete documentation including work orders, and other communication with tradespersons, customers and others. Students will learn the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, Propane Storage and Handling Code and how to interpret various regulations such as the Technical Standards and Safety Act 2000, and industry related Ontario Regulations. Students will identify the appropriate steps and procedures to follow when a hazardous situation arises and describe how to coordinate services to ensure safety and customer concerns are addressed.

- Inspect and clean residential gas fired equipment
- Size and install natural gas piping, tubing systems, and install residential duct work to meet client needs and industry requirements
