Program description - September 2025

The Bachelor of Data Analytics (BDA) degree is a three-year program, including one paid co-op work term, which will prepare you for a fulfilling career in the field of data analytics to meet the increasing demand for data analysis expertise in the digital world. Building upon the recognized foundations of data analytics, you will obtain the skills and knowledge to identify and interpret data using algorithms, extract meaningful information and communicate conclusions to help governments and businesses make better decisions driven by data. This degree program is designed to equip you with a strong skill set of data analytics-based tools, statistical methods, and data visualization techniques. You will also learn all elements of the data analysis life cycle including problem definition, data retrieval, preparation, validation, and transformation. In addition to technical data expertise, you will also learn key business strategies, professional communications, and an understanding of data ethics and privacy. Upon graduation, you will have a range of career options to work as a data analyst in a diverse range of industries, including but not limited to finance, marketing, healthcare, entertainment, and public service.

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a needs-based program designed to help Ontario students cover the cost of post-secondary education.   • Co-op programs add value to your education. Earn money while you apply what you've learned in a real workplace environment. Visit Co-operative education for more information.
  • The College cannot guarantee co-op employment. All co-op students are required to conduct an independent co-op job search in addition to the supports and services provided by the Department of Co-op Education.
  • Students are responsible for their own transportation and associated costs in order to complete work term requirements. Work locations may not always be readily accessible by public transportation.
  • In order to participate in a WIL experience/Co-op work term, students must be legally eligible to work in Canada
