Bring your creative ideas to life through animation and game design.
Turn your passion for art, storytelling, gaming and digital media into a creative career with Conestoga's Animation and Game Fundamentals Ontario College Certificate. This one-year program is designed for high school graduates interested in exploring animation, game design, digital art and interactive media.
Through hands-on learning and project-based experiences, you'll develop foundational skills used by professionals in the animation and video game industries. You'll learn how characters, environments, stories and gameplay come together to create engaging digital experiences while working with industry-relevant tools and technologies.
Whether you aspire to become an animator, game designer, concept artist or digital creator, this program provides a strong introduction to the creative and technical skills needed for success. Throughout the program, you'll build a professional portfolio that showcases your talents and helps you prepare for future education opportunities or entry-level roles in the creative industries.

Please note that fees for the 2027-2028 academic year (September 2027 to August 2028) will be released in Spring 2027. Students continuing their studies into the 2027-2028 academic year should review the updated fee details when they become available. Additional costs for books and supplies may apply.
