Program description - January 2026

In Conestoga's Advanced Video Content Creation program, you will take your existing video skills and apply them to a variety of industries. This Ontario College Graduate Certificate is designed to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the dynamic field of videography, with a focus on capturing events, creating captivating motion graphics, operating drones for photography and videography, as well as developing the business acumen required to secure clients and job opportunities in the industry.

In just 8 months, you will develop skills using industry-standard software to design and animate graphics to enhance your videos with stunning visual elements and create engaging and immersive experiences for viewers. Take your skills to the next level as you prepare for the Transport Canada drone pilot certificate exam, gaining in-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory aspects of drone operation, airspace rules, safety protocols, and best practices. Successfully passing the certification exam will allow you to operate drones commercially and adhere to industry standards.

Upon completion of this program, you'll be equipped with the necessary skills, technical knowledge, and confidence to embark on a successful career in videography, video marketing, motion graphics, or related fields. Whether you aspire to work as a freelance videographer, join a production company, or start your own business, Conestoga's Advanced Video Content Creation program will teach you how to work for yourself or someone else, creating high-quality videos from start to finish.
