The Co-op Department can help you develop the tools you need to find your work term, including:
- Assistance with job search strategy, interview preparation and resume and cover letter writing
- Posting work term employment opportunities on MyCareer
- Evaluating potential workplaces as suitable for co-op work terms
- Coaching and advising you on the labour market
Expectations of a co-op student
As a co-op student, you are expected to:
- Complete between one and four work terms, depending on your program
- Submit job applications and attend job interviews as part of your search
- Work full-time while on your work term and study full-time while at Conestoga
