Please note: students can apply to Conestoga housing before they are accepted into a program but must be a full-time registered Conestoga student at time of move in.

First-year student housing guarantee (Brantford and Waterloo only)

Apply for student housing in Brantford or Waterloo before May 1, 2025, and make your first payment by June 6, 2025, to secure your place in our Brantford or Waterloo student housing for the upcoming academic year (September 2025).

Application process:

  • Accept your offer of admission from Conestoga College.
  • Create a profile in the student housing portal for Brantford or Waterloo and submit your student housing application by 11:59 p.m. EDT May 1, 2025.
  • If all application requirements have been completed, you will be notified by email and provided with an invoice. Note that processing your application can take up to five business days.
  • Complete the remaining portion of your housing application and make your first payment by 11:59 p.m. EDT on June 6, 2025, to secure your accommodation.

All applicants will be assigned a suite at their selected community. Waterloo applicants will be provided a suite at one of the Waterloo student housing properties. Brantford applicants will be provided a suite at the Brantford student housing property.

Accommodation preferences

All suites will be assigned first come, first serve, and based on suite type and rate. We cannot guarantee the suite type, specific property, and proximity to campus.

Rates for Brantford - Darling St. student apartments & suites

Fees include hydro, water, heat, high-speed internet access and a furnished suite in a four or five-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. Your Conestoga College tuition account is separate from your Conestoga housing fees account. Do not instruct your banking institution to pay Conestoga College. Payment options and due dates can be found on your housing invoice.

Please note: unlike the college, Conestoga housing cannot defer payments for OSAP.

Annual academic years are outlined in the Student Resident Agreement. See section 1.02 of the Student Resident Agreement for details.

Fall term start: September 1, 2024 - August 26, 2025

Acceptances for the fall term start are typically sent out in mid-May.

Winter term start: January 2 - August 26, 2025

Transportation

This location is a short 3-minute walk across the street to the Brantford campus on Colborne Street, and an 8-minute walk and a 3-minute bicycle ride to the Wellington Street building.

This location is also conveniently located a 5-minute walk from Brantford's central bus terminal.

Parking

You must purchase a parking permit while staying in Conestoga housing. For more information on parking rates and how to purchase a parking pass, please visit Parking Services.

Guests are required to purchase daily parking through HonkMobile Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking is free after 4 p.m. and on weekends.

Walksafe

Walksafe is a service provided by Safety and Security to escort staff, students, and visitors while on campus or at Conestoga housing. This service is available at all campuses upon request, except Milton and Stratford.
