Program description

Turn complex ideas into clear communication with Conestoga's Technical Communication graduate certificate.

Conestoga College's Technical Communication graduate certificate prepares students to translate complex technical information into clear, accessible content for a range of audiences. Designed for those interested in software, hardware and digital innovation, the program focuses on writing, editing, information design and the digital tools used across today’s tech sector.

Students gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software, including free access to Adobe's Technical Communication Suite. The program teaches how to create and manage content for websites, manuals, applications and digital platforms, with an emphasis on accuracy, usability and clear design.

An optional co-op term provides the opportunity to apply these skills in a professional setting while collaborating with developers, engineers and designers.

What you'll learn

  • Use of authoring tools to create and manage multi-format content
