Program description - September 2025

We are living in a hybrid world where content and events are being delivered and hosted via multiple formats. Event participants have come to expect the convenience of online offerings while still wanting the option of attending in person. Esports and Events Media Production trains students on the production needs of future hybrid events. Drawing from the technology advancements and practices of esports and the video production skills from the media industry, students will learn how to produce dynamic events. Students will receive hands-on training in Conestoga's new Esports Hub and streaming lab.

Funded by the federal and provincial governments, OSAP is intended to promote equality of opportunity for post-secondary studies through direct financial assistance (grants and loans) for educational costs and living expenses. The amount of funding you are eligible for depends on your program, course load, educational and living expenses, and financial situation.
