Program description - September 2025

The Computer Programming - Data Management program is looking to support the growing field of data management at the diploma level within the Ontario college system. There is a need for diploma level learning in this area as there will be a continual increase in the volume of data available and organizations will need to capitalize on the storage, administration, and analysis of the data to drive business performance. Through this program, students will have the ability to engage with desktop and server systems, databases, reporting solutions, data visualization, and cloud and web analytics technologies with the foundational knowledge of ethics, storage, management, integration, warehousing, reporting and security. This unique set of technical skills and a foundational theoretical data management will be the first diploma level program for data management in Ontario, positioning Conestoga as a continued leader within information technology fields in the province.
