Program description - September 2026

Build your future in law enforcement

Launch your career in law enforcement with a 3-year applied Bachelor of Policing degree designed for those ready to make a tangible difference. This career-focused program merges academic theory with high-stakes, real-world experience to prepare you for the evolving world of criminal justice.

Master the science of investigation

This program goes beyond the basics, integrating specialized fields to give you a competitive edge:

  • Investigative psychology: Understand the why behind the what. Analyze offender behavior, victimology and the psychological patterns that drive criminal activity.
  • Forensic science and evidence: Learn the rigorous standards of evidence collection and the scientific methods used to process crime scenes and ensure judicial integrity.
  • Modern policing foundations: Master criminal law, investigative strategies, ethics and human rights.
  • Human‑centred skills: Develop advanced conflict resolution and learn to engage respectfully with diverse, complex populations—the hallmark of modern public safety.

Applied learning and real‑world impact

We bridge the gap between the classroom and the field through robust practical training:

  • Simulations and scenarios: Test your judgment in high-pressure, controlled environments.
  • Field placements: Gain hands-on experience and build professional networks before you graduate.
  • Social intelligence: Explore the social factors influencing crime to become a more effective, community-minded officer.

If you are passionate about justice and public safety, the Bachelor of Policing includes specialized knowledge in psychology and forensics you need to lead a meaningful, impactful career.
